Episode Title: Songs of Experience

In the following press release we get some details for the June 16th episode of the series. I like that the girls are all dealing with what I’d called PTSD, and how they are trying to move past things. I’m really interesting in this new Alison story line. I have to say her character has always interested me the most. This mysterious girl who is the queen bee, who disappears, but then is alive, and I’m still half convinced for a time, she was A. (Though I know she’s not currently.) So to see her struggle and not have it together is fascinating. But to see how she’s going to move into a new direction will be refreshing.
Still in fragile states of mind, the PLLs try to put their lives back to together in “Songs of Experience,” an all-new episode of ABC Family’s hit original series “Pretty Little Liars,” airing Tuesday, June 16th (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT).
The girls’ lives have been turned upside down by their captivity and each one of them is looking for answers to make sense of their ordeal. Aria focuses on Andrew by trying to figure out who this boy really is while Emily tries to connect with a new friend. In true Spencer fashion, she is on a mission to get answers about Charles from Ali and Jason. Hanna wants to bring the four friends back together so they can move past what happened in the Dollhouse.
Meanwhile, Alison is no longer the queen bee/mean girl she once was – but who is she now? A new friend tries to help her find the courage to start anew and find the “new” Alison.
“Pretty Little Liars” is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and is executive produced by I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Leslie Morgenstein and Joseph Dougherty. The series stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Tyler Blackburn, Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, Laura Leighton, Shay Mitchell, Janel Parrish and Sasha Pieterse.
What I love about the promo photos is how resilient the girls seem to be. That no matter what they have been though, they are still going at it. They aren’t hiding in a ball in their bedrooms–which I would totally be doing. They are out look wonderful and dealing with the new problem of the day. Talking to each other and continually being there for each other.
But my serious question for this post is: Where is Mona? We haven’t seen her since they left the dollhouse.
