Swans Song 5×11
I have to talk about Swans Song, it was just such a good episode. It was heartbreaking, it made me feel. Then the ending. What? I mean really. Though I loved seeing Killian as a dark one. (It was really fun to see him being evil and all.) I’m so glad the tables are set back right. We have our heroes and our villains. The blurred lines are back in focus. It’s good to see Mr. Gold back as our bad guy.
Watching Emma stab Killian, was heartbreaking. Because he’s regained control and is doing the right thing. And you know it has to be done but your also dying because Emma just wants to save the man she loves. You should watch it again.
I wished someone else would have been able to do it for Emma. But it was more poetic, so to speak, that it was her. The weird thing is as badly as I felt for Emma. (Words can’t express how badly I did feel for her) I also feel really bad for Henry. He keeps loosing father figures. He didn’t even really have a chance to get to know Neil, when he lost him. Now he’s lost Killian. I feel awful for him. A boy needs his father.
I can’t wait to see how the second half goes. I can’t wait to see it when they Hook back.
Speaking off…Check out the interview at EW about the second half.
“It’s complicated, because we’re going to the Underworld for the second part of the season,” the actor tells EW. “He’s sticking around, but in a completely different way and quite shocking.”
Despite that good news, Hook’s death was still a roller coaster of emotions, especially considering that Emma was the one to drive Excalibur through him in the end. “She doesn’t have a lot of time to think about it,” Morrison says. “She’s put in a situation where she has to make a decision in the moment. After what she went through — she thought she was doing the right thing by saving his life, even though he said not to, and then she realized there were all these repercussions to it. She realized how much it hurt him that she didn’t believe him that he meant to just let him go instead of turning Dark again. When she’s faced with that same decision again, she has to make the decision she knows he would want her to make. It’s one of those heartbreaking things where the decision that represents love is actually just terrifying.”SOURCE:
So about the promo. I really love that they have transformed Storybrooke into the underworld. It’s way better than being on some dark and dreary set for the rest of the season. I’m looking forward to seeing all the old foes back too. Take a peek at it. Let me know what you think.
Other things we know about next season is that Dorthy Gale will return. According to TVLine this is what we know about Dorthy.
Thing is, when next we encounter Dorothy (midway through Season 5B), she will be in her late 20s to early 30s and will have evolved from “the iconic, pig-tailed girl from Kansas” into “a brave warrior for good.” Having been sent home to the heartland with three clicks of her heels — courtesy of the “Wizard” (aka a duplicitous Zelena) — Dorothy returns to Oz looking to reclaim the magical land from the Wicked Witch, whom Regina just ejected from Storybrooke.
Then there is this script tease from Adam.
