When reached for comment, a CMT spokesperson, however, maintained to TVLine that a Season 5 premiere date had not been set.

So I’m loving the fact that Nashville is coming back. Couple that with a December return time, Christmas can’t get here soon enough. Even though CMT has maintained that a date has not been set, this fun tweet from the Opry says otherwise. I just know I’m happy for them to come back!
